The first smartphone from Philips that will run with Windows Mobile 6.5, Philips D908 has officially announced in China. The handset works on GSM and CDMA /EV-DO connectivity, its features 3.2 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 5 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 1GB of RAM, 2GB of ROM, and MicroSD card support up to 32GB. The carrier who pick up this handset is China Telecom.

Vodafone UK has announced that they will start selling Iphone on January 2010 for UK customers. Vodafone will offers iPhone 3G for free with a contract for 18 months and a data plan of at least £30,  iPhone 3GS 16GB will be free with a data plan of at least £45 per month, while the iPhone 3GS  is free if you pay at £75 a month. unlike O2 and Orange, Vodafone will not offer the iPhone on Pay As You Go packages
