Verizon Announces Motorola Devour Android Phone with MOTOBLUR

Yesterday Verizon Wireless announced the Motorola Devour also known as (Calgary A555), an Android Phone with MOTOBLUR that will be available in March 2010.

The key features of this android phone are a 3.1 inch capacitive touchscreen, a touch sensitive navigation pad and a side-slide QWERTY keyboard. Motorola Devour runs Android 1.6 OS supports Verizon’s dual-band CDMA EVDO Rev A 3G network, and offers a 3 Megapixel camera, AGPS support, Bluetooth, 8 GB microSD card pre-installed and pre-loaded with Google apps (Gmail, Google Talk, YouTube, Google Search and Google Maps with Google Maps Navigation).

To get the most from Motorola DEVOUR, customers will need to subscribe to a Nationwide Talk or Nationwide Talk & Text plan and a Data Package for smartphones. Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 monthly access, and Nationwide Talk & Text plans begin at $59.99 monthly access. A Data Package for smartphones is $29.99 for unlimited monthly access.
